Simon Boyce, Managing Director

With over 28years Sales Experience Simon started his career within the motor Trade and after 12 years decided to take a side step to work within the travel industry, but soon found in the late 90’s his niche within the social work recruitment sector. He joined a small Essex based Recruitment business and was responsible for the growth from 4 staff to 50 over a 12 years period, his work ethic is second to none and prides himself on his simple morals of treating people how they want to be treated and “never ask someone to do something you would never do yourself”

Simon is a very hands on manager who prides himself on still being a “biller” and will continue to lead by example Simon strives to implement Hojona’s values of quality by ensuring our organisation strives to ‘not be the biggest, but always the best’ Simon has reviewed and listened to the demand of our current markets within the Health and Social Care Sector and as such in the past months has planned and implemented the launch of two new divisions within the organisation (yet to be announced).

Simon is looking forward to the challenges that the recruitment sectors currently have now and for the future ,and welcome any new talent to join him on his new journey.

Darren Cooper, Managing Partner (MIND)

With over 15 years sales experience Darren’s recruitment journey started at a young age within the Industrial sector.

Since then Darren has taken time to build his knowledge across the Social Care sector before moving into the Mental Health recruitment sector.

Darren was the first person to launch a truly dedicated mental health consultancy business and built the business from 1 to 25 consultants over a 24 month period.

Since leaving his previous business role Darren has looked at new ways to develop unique staffing solutions to the mental health industry and is excited by the future plans of Hojona Mind and the new businesses we are looking to launch over the next 12 months.

Darren has known and worked with Simon for many years and they share the same passion within recruitment and have a shared vision of where they want Hojona to be.

John Clegg, Senior Recruitment Consultant

With well over a decades experience in social care recruitment John’s knowledge of the industry is second to none.

After 10 years of both working for and helping to grow an agency, John decided it was time for a new challenge. After a well-deserved break John looked for his next venture. After speaking with Simon, his former manager, he knew that Hojona was the place for him.
 
John is looking forward to once again helping a small agency achieve greater things.

Ben Trunley, Senior Consultant (GP’s & Social work) 

Ben’s recruitment career originally started in the Technology sector, with a company based in the heart of London.

After being one of the top billers at his previous company, Ben decided it was time to venture into starting his own agency.

Ben lead his agency for 3 years and was responsible for building it from the ground up, to 6 team members. It was when Ben was speaking with Simon, that he decided that he wanted to be a part of Hojona & Simon’s vision.

Ben is responsible for account management & business development. Ben is also involved in mentoring junior consultants and prides himself on his work ethic and simple morals of “Put both the candidate and client before yourself”.

Ben is extremely excited to be a part of Hojona and will play a key part in driving the business forward. His long term visions are to not only build Hojona into one of the leading Social Care agencies, but also to build Hojona to become a multi-sector agency.

Tom Goldsmith, Consultant (GP’s & Social work)

Tom’s background was originally in insurance before he found his true calling within recruitment. Tom sits within the Social Care team and plays a key part in resourcing and developing relationships with candidates and clients alike. He is very excited to continue his journey with Hojona and looks forward to any challenges this may bring.
